  In June 2007 a recreational fishery was announced and due to our long history of fishing we thought it would be nice to share the experience with our tourists.       

  This tour consists of a beautiful scenic drive to the small fishing community of Petty Harbour. The town of Petty Harbour is still a strong fishing village and a photographers paradise.

You will meet a local fisherman (your captain) and board a 35 foot crab fishing boat.

You will get a chance to try your luck jigging a codfish and many times see whales and puffins while enjoying a ride over the waves and a spectacular view.

When the fishing is over we will head back to Petty Harbour where you can watch your captain clean and fillet the fish caught. You will be given a fillet of fish to take home and cook if you want.

The cost of this tour is $60.00 (Canadian) plus tax per person.
