Ann has been in the tourism industry since 1993 when she began driving with a local taxi company. She loved it very much and as she met more and more people who wanted her to show them around our "City of Legends" she enjoyed it even more. The wonderful people she met and the experiences she encountered enticed her to incorporate her own tour company in 2001.

Ann is very active in the industry. She has been  a member of and has sat on the Board of Directors of "Destination St. John's" (tourism marketing organization) as well as "The Admirals' Coast Tourism Association".

Ann was a founding member of the committee responsible for developing and implementing the nationally recognized "TAXIHOST" program in Newfoundland and Labrador. Taxhost is a voluntary 27 hour  classroom based skills enhancement and training program offered to drivers. Ann sat on the steering committee for Taxihost with "Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador"

Ann was Co-Founder of the "STEER" committee (SMART TAXIS ENCOURAGING ENVIRONMENTAL RESPECT). The committee is a partnership of Natural Resources Canada, The City of St. John's, The Provincial Dept. Of Works Services and Transportation,  Taxi Industry Stakeholders, and the Newfoundland Environmental Industries Association. It explores ways in which small fleet owners and operators can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles while at the same time save money on fuel and maintenance costs. The "STEER" committee has selected Ann to represent them on the "URBAN COMMERCIAL TRANSPORTATION STAKEHOLDERS COMMITTEE" which is a national committee dealing with various fleets across Canada. She has just received recognition for her commitment and contribution to this committee and its  success in the development of the Smart Driver in The City program.
Ann is a single parent of three daughters ages 27,25 and 18. Her 18 year old daughter Lisa enjoys accompanying her mom on some of the tours and always adds a little charm to the trip.

During the winter months while still offering tours to those who visit Ann enjoys providing transportation for challenged needs children to and from school. She find this always rewarding.
